  • 10/16/17 Dear GES Families:I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It was a busy weekend with many community events.  The Kids Market Day was well attended at the Gilford Youth Center on Saturday. Many of our learners reported earning money for their crafts and baked goods. Also, the Gard Family had many wonderful treats and auction items. They donated all their money to CHAD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock).  GES was represented at the Pumpkin Festival in Laconia with hundreds of pumpkins carved and decorated by our learners.  The throwback 80’s PTA fundraiser was a huge success.  They raised over $40,000 for our schools.   • October 2, 2017 Dear GES Families: We had a blast with our first GES Spirit Day this past Friday. It was wonderful to see our learners in their GES blue and white colors. We will have GES spirit days throughout the school year on the last Friday of every month. Many thanks to the PTA for setting up the family movie night. It was a huge success with many families coming out for some free popcorn and a great movie! PTA News:  The PTA online auction is up and running!!! Our family enjoyed apple picking and the hot apple cider donuts too!  It is hard to believe this is the last week of September. Here are some events coming up!Come join us for a free event sponsored by the PTA at Gilford High School from 6:00-8:00 PM on September 26th.  Lynn Lyons will speak about how to manage the worry in family and at school.
