Dear GES Families:

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It was a busy weekend with many community events.  The Kids Market Day was well attended at the Gilford Youth Center on Saturday. Many of our learners reported earning money for their crafts and baked goods. Also, the Gard Family had many wonderful treats and auction items. They donated all their money to CHAD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock).  GES was represented at the Pumpkin Festival in Laconia with hundreds of pumpkins carved and decorated by our learners.  The throwback 80’s PTA fundraiser was a huge success.  They raised over $40,000 for our schools.

Important Reminders:

Please remember to hand in the emergency sheets we put in backpacks at the beginning of the school year. It is important to fill in both sides so that we have the most current information on file in the office. We have received about half of them back at this point.

Please see the attached flyer to take advantage of New Hampshire Healthy Families Vision Van.  They are offering free eye exams with a free pair of glasses.

Upcoming Volunteer Fingerprinting Clinics:

Tuesday, October 24 ~ 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Friday, November 3 ~ 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Fingerprint clinics are held at the SAU office located at 2 Belknap Mountain Road.

Please call the office at 527-9215 to schedule an appointment. A photo ID is required for identification.
